Youth social action means activities that young people do to make a positive difference to others and the environment and works on the personal development of the young person.

Social action is the opportunity for you to work on issues that you care about and to gain extra skills for work, college and your career.

Examples of Social Actions Projects...

  • 3 students from Creative Arts created the Ask for Angela training video as part of an open offer. The video will be distributed to over 600 venues in Leeds.
  • 50 beginner ESOL students at North Street campus worked over 12 weeks to create a garden on their campus.
  • 20 Applied Science students worked over 8 weeks, as part of a curriculum offer, to campaign for improved prayer and quiet spaces on their campus.
