As part of UK Parliament Week, students across the Education Group took part in Make Your Mark, a powerful consultation designed to put student voice at the heart of decision-making. With over 3,100 students voting, this initiative was a fantastic opportunity for learners to engage in democracy and influence the issues that matter most to them.
Hosted by the Student Life Enrichment Team, Make Your Mark encouraged students to actively participate in shaping the future of their college experience. By casting their votes, learners practiced the British Value of democracy, ensuring that their voices contribute to real change.
The topics identified through this consultation will now be taken forward by our Member of College Parliament (MCP) community. These student representatives will work closely with college leadership to co-produce action plans to work on these issues.
