SU Elections 2026 Stats
The 2026 SU Elections saw us only have 5 candidates campaign and received an impressive 2,595 votes, approximately a 12.1% college wide voter turnout!

SU President Election 2026 Stats
- 5 Candidates ran in this election - Vwaire Ikwe, Masoud Aminizadeh, Gail Ball, Alex Wakefield and Eyitayo Agbede.
- There were 2,595 votes cast in the election.
- It took 5 rounds to find a winner.
- Masoud Aminizadeh received 852 1st preference votes
- Eyitayo Agbede received 649 1st preference votes
- Vwaire Ikwe received 589 1st preference votes
- Alex Wakefield received 248 1st preference votes
- Gail Ball received 188 1st preference votes
- R.O.N. received 69 1st preference votes
- 655 votes were then transferred after R.O.N., Gail, Alex, and Vwaire were eliminated after rounds 1, 2, 3, and 4
- In round 5, Masoud Aminizadeh received 52.7% of the total vote, with 1,094 votes to Eyitayo Agbede’s 982
Special Recognition
- The Vine:
- Double the number of voters from last year and a 21% voter turnout!
- Enfield Centre:
- Most voters with 583!
- Beeston and North Street:
- Both had 52% voter turnout that was the highest this year!
- Deacon House and University Centre Leeds:
- Both increased their voter turnouts from last year!
- Pudsey Sixth Form:
- 42% voter turnout in their 1st year of voting in the SU Elections!
