*AND THATS A WRAP ON THE 2026 SU ELECTIONS!*

 

We are delighted to announce that after 2,595 votes, Masoud Aminizadeh has been elected as the Students' Union President for the 26/27 Academic year! 

 

It was a close election throughout thanks to all 5 candidates tireless campaigning efforts, with Masoud edging it in a 52 / 48 swing in the 5th round.

A huge well done and thank you to all involved - the candidates for their campaigning, students for their voting, and the staff that organise the elections and empowered students to have their say.

We'll be prepping Masoud over the next few months ready for him to start his term on July 1st.
