The Student Life Enrichment teams offer a range of opportunities to enhance the student experience. From open enrichment activities that students can participate in their own time to personal development skills sessions within curriculum time. We are responsible for social action and student voice across the college as well as being responsible for the Students’ Union.

 

Our objectives are to:

  • Create a consistent student voice model to ensure co production that can be analysed effectively including by protected characteristic, including economic disadvantage. 

  • Deliver a range of democracy events including the Big Conversation engaging curriculum and campus / college leaders.

  • Provide student leadership opportunities through Student Union and college parliament.

  • Ensure LCCSU is visible across college by working with SU Officers to develop student voice on campus including engagement in campus councils, college parliament and engagement activities.

  • Develop campus offers that engage students in a wide variety of enrichment, social action and extra curricular activities to support personal development and active citizenship.

  • Develop student led clubs and societies to develop skills linked to navigate skills assessment.

  • Offer a range of sports enrichment activities, to encourage physical activity that develop skills linked to navigate skills assessments.

  • Deliver a high quality enrichment programme that develops student skills informed by navigate skills assessment including problem solving, collaboration, confidence, community & social action and managing stress.
